I really enjoyed my space I am active duty military so the fact that. This place was very affordable and clean really made my trip feel even better.
Overall, this location is nice and clean. The photos are accurate. The neighborhood and building are peaceful. The cons are with the amenities provided. I have never stayed at an AirBNB that didn't have basic spices and paper towels. 4 of us checked in and noticed we were left about 1 1/2 rolls of toilet paper for a 4 night stay. We also noticed there wasn't any soap or body wash to take a shower. I messaged the host and someone brought out toilet paper and dish soap. 1 more message and body soap was brought out. The kitchen has a Keurig, but we were left about 6 coffee pods along with expired powdered creamer and sugar. The other odd thing is, I noticed a review from 2 months prior to our stay, mentioning that there is no curtain or blind on the back door and the host saying something about not being able to get to a hardware store over the weekend to get that remedied, well 2 months later and it still isn't fixed. Dealing with these hosts, feels very corporate.
The fairly new listing showed as such. It is an apartment within a 6 unit building that received what we'd call a landlord touch-up (patched walls not sanded for uniformity before painting). It was as pictured except for one privacy/security concern. The blinds were completely missing from backdoor leading onto porch of this 1st level apartment. When checking-in we found that door unlocked. The host company said they'd address missing blinds while we were out seeing Boston, but actually did nothing, and when asked why not they claimed all the hardware stores were closed, despite us being out from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm and us stopping by a fully stocked Ace Hardware for another item. Being a company with multiple employees responding to messages likely resulted in no-one owning responsibility for having a local team member buy and install the missing blinds. Overall, we would recommend this property, if they fix this issue and company follows thru on commitments.
