Pros: Close to public transportation, Coffee Shops & Small Restaurants in walking distance, Clean apartment, Clean Linens, comfortable beds, free off-street parking, well-stocked with extra linens, dishes and glassware, cookware and cooking utensils, flexible with check-in and check out. Cons: -Baseball sized hole in bathroom sink that was previously reported in another review was still there during our stay. Got temporarily patched by the ground crew 4 hours after our arrival and we were told we could use the sink with caution. -Missing curtains/blinds from back door with large top-bottom window panel (you can see straight into this first floor apartment). This was also previously reported in other reviews. - Heat not working until the ground crew turned it on from the basement. - Most Lamps not working through apartment. -Communication outside of Air BNB app (host communicates outside of the app via text/email, once we used the app to chat…our issues were promptly addressed).
Area seemed a bit unsafe. Keypad was impossible to find. Had to call while standing on porch near dark in seedy area. You have to touch the black door lock to illuminate keypad. That piece of info was not given to us until I called. Have to enter 2 different codes to get into your room, a bit frustrating. Apartment was very nice. Beds most comfortable! Bathroom clean except there was literally a hole punctured into the sink casting of porcelain that allowed us to only use minimal pressure at faucet to avoid water pouring inside the sink casting and going all into the floor. Only 1 of 4 lamps worked. Had no curtain in kitchen which was listed on many other reviews and it was said that would be attended to. Seems like I was dealing with a large company who handle many different properties instead of just the owner that would attend with more care. Had a different agent respond each time. Building was beautiful. I think with better over sight this place would be even better.
