We had a wonderful time at this Airbnb. It’s so close to the Boston Common — really well located.
Spacious unit in a very convenient location.
Jean from Evonify customer service was fantastic! Very responsive, professional, and friendly. Check-in from the world’s unfriendliest, most unhelpful doorman was relatively and shockingly seamless given his complete lack of care and professionalism. His accent was so thick you couldn’t understand him, he refused to speak up, and the partition and his mask made it even more difficult to hear him. He made no effort whatsoever to make himself more clear—wouldn’t even get off his personal call on his cell phone or stop playing his game. The building location is truly unbeatable with proximity to shopping, trains, food, entertainment, coffee, the Common and the Garden, Beacon Hill…if you want to be in the action, THIS is the place. And it had a gorgeous view of the Common from the Bathroom and living room! Huge open studio, extremely comfortable bed, but make SURE to bring ear plugs as it’s a very busy locale. As a city dweller myself, I’m used to this and being ear plugs every time I travel. The bathroom needs a lot of work which is my only reason for docking a star. Bad shower door, no mirror (someone must’ve ripped it off the medicine cabinet and it never got replaced), peeling paint. The rest of the unit makes up for it, but this really needs serious attention. We met the cleaning lady on the way out, and she was very helpful with the shower door. Despite the bathroom and the doorman, would definitely stay here again. We had a great stay and really loved the unit! It had such an open, fun, minimalist but cozy energy! Thanks Evonify!
