Had a great stay for a work trip. The Central AC was key for a Boston trip in the summer!
Very well located appartment. We really enjoyed it.
5 day trip to Boston with my wife and teenaged daughter. pros: Location is very close to two subway stops on the green and orange lines and is adjacent from Boston Common. Communication from the host was quick and helpful. There was plenty of toilet paper etc. cons: there is a homeless shelter less than 50ft from the front door of the apartment. Many of these people were heavy drug users (observed directly in the alley next to the apartment) and/or had mental health issues which made for some uncomfortable situations. The apartment building and the apartment itself have not been maintained. The furniture was torn/stained and the apartment was just generally not in good shape. the bathroom is extremely cramped and the shower doors are broken. makes sense now why pictures of the bathroom were not available in the listing. Due to the lack of maintenance, the place felt like it was not very clean. the HVAC was not working well, it was extremely cold in the living room where my daughter was sleeping on the air mattress and extremely hot in the bedroom where me and my wife slept. we even kept the door open to help with the heat in the bedroom, but it didn't work. If it weren't for the location, I would have rated the stay at 2 stars. I would not stay here again.
