The apartment:
- 2x queen size beds
- 4 guests MAX.
- 2x full bathroom.
- This apartment doesn't have any views. The windows overlook other buildings.
- Fully equipped kitchen.
- Self flexible check-in.
- Laundry is available in the building. You will have to pay for it separately.
Parking:
- No Parking on premise. It is your responsibility to find parking.
- We don't advise driving in Boston. Parking can be extremely expensive and a big hassle.
Check-in:
- Please adhere to the check-in time on your reservation.
- Early check-in is available for a small fee. It can be requested on our portal.
- 1pm Late check-out is available for a small fee. It can be requested on our portal.
- Early check-in and late check-out is subject to availability if requested last minute.
Pets:
- Pets are not allowed.
Things to Note:
- This reservation may be subject to a refundable security deposit, not more than $350. This is a requirement from our insurance.
- 28 nights+ reservations are subject to a $2500 refundable security deposit.
- Subject to street noise due to location. You're in downtown Boston and the location is very noisy at all hours.
- You will encounter homeless people. You're in downtown.
- We are required to obtain a copy of your ID until checkout. You can submit it on our portal after making the reservation.
- We have a doorbell camera.
- Any attempt of throwing a party will result in immediate termination.
- Smoking is not allowed inside the apartment or the building.
- This reservation will be canceled if you have a violent criminal history. Our system automatically checks.
- AC is unavailable between October 15th and May 5th.
Apartment was nice. The location was perfect. Central to everything & many places to walk down and get a bite to eat/drink. Apartment was clean as well. I recommend this place if you are in a small group.
My friends and I were looking forward to staying at the air bnb and hosting a game night with a group of friends for a birthday. Although exonify changed the location at the very last minute, the apartment was really nice and in a great location. I would advise to let guests know a day in advance if there are any immediate changes to their reservation to avoid confusion. Unfortunately the walls are really thin and our night ended abruptly due to the neighbors complaining about the noise levels (which you can hear EVERYTHING in the hallways, even the TV’s). The owner ended up coming a few hours later unexpectedly and asked us to leave. We immediately respected his decision and cleaned out the place as much as we could and left shortly after. He was nice enough to let us stay for a bit and clean but did mention to leave everything else behind which included a few trays of food. We were all respectful and peaceful when leaving. The day after, I was shocked, confused and disappointed to receive a review from the host claiming that there was smoking in the apartment, items were missing and things were broken which is completely inaccurate and 100% false. They even went as far as to provide the wrong photos from that night. It could be that the host accidentally provided incorrect photos or wanted to charge a cleaning fee and was making up damages in order to get it. However, there are surveillance cameras throughout the building which I highly advise Exonify to reference to prove that guests went outside to smoke when needed and for any other evidence they need. We respect the host’s rules and would never smoke in the apartment and there is no way that much damage could’ve been done within the few hours we were there. In addition, there were no smoke detector sensors on site to even damage? We also left the key with the host at the time, another thing we are being falsely accused for (he was literally on the premises and retrieved the key.) Luckily, we took a picture of the living room after cleaning for our own records before leaving. You can visibly see there is no trash and the remotes are all visibly seen. Unfortunately the host even reported that the remote was missing. I feel extorted and uncomfortable that I’m being falsely accused of damages we did not do. This part has been an extremely unpleasant and unprofessional experience. As I mentioned above, the host was kind enough to let us stay to clean for a bit but mentioned to leave everything else behind. If I had known he would also charge for a deep cleaning fee, we would’ve immediately removed the few items we left behind (two trays of food) to avoid this extra charge. Overall, I’m disappointed in the inconvenience of this whole experience, the lack of professionalism from the host, as well as being falsely accused for damages we did not do. I hope no air bnb guests ever has a bad experience like how I did with this host.
Great location and clean. We did have an issue with responsiveness and had to purchase our own wash cloths...upon telling the host there weren’t any we were told some would be delivered...it never happened.
