my stay was good, the apartment was very clean, and easy to find. i appreciated having a fridge as well, vastly better than a hotel. my one knock on this place was that the bathroom was a bit in need of some updates, and it was VERY noisy. granted, i totally understand that the city is noisy as i stay here often for work, but because of the AC unit that ran into the window with a lack of seal, it was basically like the street was next to your head while trying to sleep. again, this is no knock on the apartment or hosts, just be aware when booking that this location is particularly noisy for a light sleeper, even for a city location.
The initial listing became unavailable the week of our trip due to emergency maintenance, but the host was able to get us another booking in the same building. The new room had the same amenities as the initial booking, and was very clean. We greatly appreciated them working with us on this issue, as well as for helping us resolve another minor issue during our stay. They responded quickly and were always very friendly and professional. The building itself was a little old, but was in a fantastic location with lots of things to see and do within walking distance. Great value for your money, especially given the location next to Boston Common and downtown.
Location was great. Little noisy at night, but to be expected given the area. Given a differing unit as the original unit needed some maintenance. This Unit needs some maintenance, as well. There was food remnants on floor. Mold in grout in shower. The exhaust fan was filled with dust. There were exposed HVAC lines where a heater would have been. No option to use heat given the changing weather. Definitely not the same as the photo posted. Perhaps the original unit would have been a different experience
