This Airbnb was fine, affordable, great location, but the apartment itself is wanting. A few improvements that would be easy to implement, warm lighting in the living room. The overhead lights are not hospitable at all. A standing light or a few would be great in the living room. Additionally, a throw blanket or two would go a long way. It would get chilly in the apartment and there were no blankets. Lastly, my husband was walking up to his side of the bed and stepped on a piece of glass and cut his foot. Clearly left from a previous guest and the floor wasn’t properly cleaned between guests. He ended up limping the entire trip and was fairly uncomfortable. A little more care in there s department would go a long way.
Perfect little apartment right outside the Boston Common. Lots of parking garages within a few minutes walking. Tons of food options in Chinatown. The Green and Red Line of the T are a 5 min walk from the apartment. Lots of other things are a 20 minute walk aswell!
The unit was lacking Linens for our third guest, which weren’t delivered until midday on our second day. We were credited a small amount for this inconvenience. I noticed on the second night. We were there that there was no conditioner. And very little body wash which they said they would have replaced had they of know. But isn’t that what they should have been looking for when they clean after the last guest? Pay attention to the ad! There is no way to adjust the thermostat during our stay and it was HOT at least 80 degrees in there we were told to open a window when we tried to do that the blinds fell down from the small windows and we couldn’t get them back on very easily and it would have let all the outside noise in during the night so we had to leave the windows shut. Would not stay here again.
