We were a mother-sons trio visiting Boston for 6 days. We were able to do everything historic, went to a Red Sox baseball game and visited many churches. The location was exceptionally clean and perfect for our needs - we had easy access to great food ( Chinese/Asian, Italian, seafood ) and smooth access to public transportation which took us to all the places we wanted to go ( we purchased the 7-day pass ). My husband was able to join us for the adventure some of the days, and we would start the day with a strong breakfast at the unit. Groceries was convenient at the nearby Roche. The unit had no microwave, which is in the description, and no dishwasher. There is street noise overall, especially during the weekend, but that was expected. The windows had good light-blocking coverings, so lights at night were not an issue. Host was very responsive and helpful. If you want to experience Boston, I highly recommend this unit.
Amazing place!
Overall okay stay. There were some issues with not having enough linens/towels, and we were left one night without enough for the guest bed (which is just a mattress in the closet, not a sofa bed as the listing indicates) because the cleaners had closed (keep in mind you have to check in at 5pm and if you text a request later than 5:30pm, they won’t be able to accommodate it until the next morning). Additionally there were some things that just made the stay not super comfortable, for example there was no toilet paper holder (the toilet paper was just placed on the sink in the small bathroom), the blinds did not work, and there were a lot of gnats. Luckily we didn’t spend too much time in the place and it was decent to just rest our heads once we got enough linens/pillows.
