Evonify has hosted over 40,000 guests since its launch in 2019.
My girlfriend and I booked this stay to attend an event at Moody Center. Upon arrival, the door lock would not open. I told the host and they asked me to “try harder” which I did, and then proceeded to ask me to record a video of me trying to get in. All the while doing this, we were being swarmed by mosquitoes in the hallway. Finally we gave up, put all of our things back into the car, and waited an HOUR AND A HALF for their “ground support” to arrive and fix the door. After finally getting in, my girlfriend right away mentioned an odor of smoke. Past that, nothing seemed to be an issue right away other than the interior being MUCH dimmer than in the pictures. The next day, we noticed several roaches in the kitchen and in the tub. After reaching out to the host about the issues, we were only offered a late checkout (why would we want to stay longer?) Eventually contacted bnb support and got relocated. Avoid.
Genial
The place smelled like someone had been smoking in it for many days before we got there. There were a few dead bugs in the apartment also. Ultimately we had to leave within a couple hours of arriving because the smell was so overwhelming and was stuck on the furniture and bedding. We also weren’t able to check in until 5pm because of the cleaners, which was confusing because they should have made the host aware of the smoke smell before new guests stayed there.
