The apartment is very spacious, and we were very excited about this trip. The rules state no smoking inside, but I still detected some old smoke smell. I believe it was a former smokers' place, but it's not a big deal. It's an old apartment, and many features are outdated, especially the water heater, which takes time to warm up and has very low pressure. The bathroom also has an old, unpleasant smell. The kitchen is large, but we could only use the electric stove, which takes a while to cook, even for simple tasks like boiling eggs. The quality of the beds is uncertain; the spring mattress could cause back pain. They should invest in better bedding. There are 4 beds — three bedrooms and an air mattress (which they did not specify was available). I hope they will care more for this place, as it has the potential to be much better.
Terrible experience with the host. It was so bad that Airbnb sided with me and charged the hosts a fee, and blocked off the dates for my entire reservation for this host even though I was no longer staying there.
The place was as described, 3 bedrooms. However the air conditioning only worked in 1 bedroom, I brought this to their attention and since my stay was short they decided I was not important enough to fix it. Secondly, the kitchen faucet was broken and would splash anyone who tried turning it on. Thirdly, the 2 bedrooms upstairs are only separated by a sliding door, meaning there is no privacy whatsoever, and you are basically sharing a bedroom if you’re staying upstairs. I understand there are certain policies you have to follow; which is why I understand why they kept my deposit , however the overall experience was terrible and I definitely will not be staying here again. Apart from this- I booked another reservation with the team for a different property, last minute on the day of my reservation they had “emergency maintenance” I cancelled and rebooked for a week after, coincidentally they have emergency maintenance again. I usually don’t leave reviews but felt forced to here.
