Beautiful apartment in a great location!! Would love to stay here all the time I visit Boston!!
a wonderful experience.
The apartment - and indeed the whole building - feels tired and shabby and in need of renovation, especially the bathroom and kitchen (there are no photos of either of these in the description). On the other hand, they were reasonably well equipped. The public areas, i.e. corridors and lifts are quite dirty. The apartment itself was clean enough, although there were stains on the bedclothes (from cleaning products, according to the host, but we don't think so). There was no spare clean duvet cover, but fortunately we were able to replace it with clean sheets that were available. Very noisy, even in the middle of the night, with cars hooting their horns. This apartment is owned by a corporation, which seems to own most of the AirBnb properties in this part of Boston, which seems against the spirit of AirBnb, and gives a rather impersonal feel to the experience. Having said that, Jean replied quickly to our e-mails. Great view of Boston Common, very close to subway station.
