Our stay was great! We visited from California and had a lot we wanted to do. The best part of this booking was our location, it was so close to all the activities we had on our list and right across from a T train as well. No need to uber, only to and from the airport. The price was also great compared to hotels we looked at and much more space. The host responded very quickly to messages and had well written instructions regarding our stay. One thing we didn’t like which was minor and out of the host’s control was such the smell on the floor hallway- that carpet is understandable very old (the room had no odor). Totally recommend this location.
Nice room as pictured. The building and room had a strong smell that was bad and the building is slum-like and falling apart. While my partner thought the room was nice because it’s a corner unit with a view of the Common, I thought the smell was unbearably strong and the building was in such bad shape that I was unhappy with the choice overall.
Brilliant location. Apartment is in an area that has theatres and schools so neighbours were young and friendly. Can walk everywhere and the T is right outside the door. Exactly as described. Has a cool, 1950’s, “Mad Men” vibe to the place. Comfortable. Temperature was perfect and aircon unobtrusive; maybe something to do with the quality build of these older buildings? Bring your earplugs though; we did and slept even better as a result - but that’s the same when you stay central in any big city. Coffee machine seemed broken, or I couldn’t work it, but, when the company couldn’t help me fix it, they had another one delivered the very next morning (we didn’t ask, they just delivered!). Roche’s 5 min walk for your groceries, Lambert’s just up the road by the park for your sandwiches, any amount of breakfast and dinner options in the area. Can’t say enough good things about Evonify - continually exceeded expectations. Would definitely return to this apartment in this great city.
