Emailed me 3 times saying they sent check-in instructions, yet the emails did not include necessary info. The building was a dump, death trap elevators and the hallways stunk. The room was so noisy with street traffic and humans screaming, topped off with the last night the smoke alarm batteries died with all night beeping from the alarm even though we went out at night to purchase batteries and replaced them but it continued to beep. We tried every configuration of batteries, finally removing them all together and it continued to beep all night. Evonify said they notified the building management but no ownership to offer us any reparations even though I couldn’t sleep all night. The actual room was okay and centrally located, but very, very noisy. Do not recommend! I think we deserved a refund for the last night so disappointing.
It was wonderful! Great location, lots of places nearby, and super clean and cozy!
This was a beautiful apartment. It was as described, in an older building, but had a hot shower and room for the family of 4 to relax. We had to use a pallet on the floor bc our teen son was too tall for the couch. We still had plenty of space to walk. The pallet was in the closet, more like a thin foam mattress with sheets /blanket. We wished for extra cozy blankets for relaxing in the room. Also recommend a sound machine to wash out the street noise at night- we played green noise on our phones in a loop, that helped! Cold A/C great! This place is an excellent location for walking or navigating the T / subway (Boylston and Park street stations are very close!) We literally did it all from here - Fenway, Harvard, North End, Freedom Trail, and hours in Boston Common (across the street). No car needed. We even walked from South Station with our suitcases a 10 min walk- because the SL1 bus line from/to airport is a free ride to South Station. I always felt safe here. Highly recommend!
