This unit is in a classic Boston "3 decker" in a great neighborhood, feels like the suburbs. Savin Hill Over the Bridge is a hidden gem of Boston neighborhoods. Unit is nicely updated and is well appointed with kitchen stuff, etc. Very quiet at night. Parking is tight and rules are heavily enforced, so pay attention to the signage ! There is a bold tom turkey roaming around the area too - grandson loved that !
I booked this Airbnb for a 7-night stay but was forced to leave after just one miserable night due to three major issues: No functioning heater – The heating system was faulty, making the place unbearably cold in the middle of winter. No hot water – Taking a warm shower was impossible, which is unacceptable, especially in winter. (They fixed it later) Flooding bathroom – The bath flooded excessively, making the bathroom unusable. I immediately reached out to the host, expecting a quick resolution, but their response was shockingly unhelpful. They admitted they couldn’t fix anything until after I was supposed to check out—so basically, I was expected to survive an entire week in freezing conditions, without a proper bath or hot water. The communication with the host was a nightmare. They showed no urgency in addressing these serious issues, and to make matters worse, they charged me for two nights even though I had to leave after the first night! This was by far the worst Airbnb.
First of all the place is nice but the are several problem with this place the hot water wouldn’t turn hot out of my five day there it work for 2 day in the other day it was not getting hot the other problem was the heater wasn’t working at all the whole five day me in my kid were freezing and it was cold outside the parking was a other problem they told me to park in a garage that was not close to the place at all find out you can park in front of the place from 6pm to 9am after that parking is not allow from what happened 10am to 6pm after all it was the worst experience ever.
