I’ve been using Air BnB for twelve years, and this was my worst experience ever. Evonify is a company. It doesn’t have the personal touch of most Air BnB experiences. It’s a Walmart experience that couldn’t care less about the experience of the customer. Upon arrival, the heater didn’t work. I sent numerous texts, messages, and calls to “the management” pleading for help. I even sent pictures of the thermostat. They couldn’t care less that three people were freezing in their unit. Not only did they refuse to send someone to fix it, they made no effort to support us with more blankets, space heater, etc. I’m still in shocked - a week later. Me and my friends all slept poorly and all performed poorly at our race the next day. When we requested a full refund, they eventually gave us a measly 33% refund. And that, my friends, is how you know it’s a company of indifference. Instead of trying to make things right, they know there’s plenty more who will come after me.Avoid
Okay location, solid space, pretty clean. 2 people per provided towel, 0 Trash bags provided until day 3 of 5, and the heat going out during freezing Boston nights docked the score a bit. Thankfully the host was responsive and got those taken care of. It's just unfortunate that they were problems to begin with. The downstairs neighbors were the kind that would make any adjacent tenant want to leave, but I can't fault the listers for that.
Good spot to spend a couple of nights for meetings in Medford. Close walk to Tufts campus and some nice coffee shops. Hosts were great at communication.
