We stayed here during the Thanksgiving break for 6 nights. Pluses: Convenient location - right across from the metro station and easy to get to the airport and the historic downtown; a convenience store/small supermarket downstairs where you can get groceries and other items; authentic Latin American restaurants nearby - we tried a Colombian restaurant and the food was 👍 Apartment looked recently renovated, very clean and quite spacious too. TV in each room. Minuses The dryer was not working during our stay. We contacted the host but they couldn’t send someone to look at it. We had to hang the clothes every night and had to pack wet clothes in our suitcase on the last day. It’s rather a hassle. The kitchen has new appliances but was minimally stocked, without any cooking ingredients, not even salt and cooking oil. There are Coffee pods but no creamer. No teabags either. The couch/sofa in the living room were rather old and worn out. There’re two flights of stairs to climb.
I recommend with great confidence a very clean, very luxurious home. If I were to pass by again, I would pass by again at any time and the greatest pleasure
Not a luxury unit. Advertised as $118 but reservation calc. at $126/night. Avoid if you don't need to stay in this area! People kept leaving entrance unlocked! Major pros- right opp subway station, very walkable area, lots of space heaters & deep tub Major Cons- $120 cleaning fee for a dirty unit in a dirty building! The unit looked clean until I noticed my son's dirty feet. A girl came to clean but his feet kept getting dirty. There weren't any rugs! The walls were dirty, & the door, pillows & mattress cover had stains. Dirty hallway and stairs, dents in the wall, tiles falling off. I tried to use rear staircase to access trash bins but there was dried poop & possible vomit. Antivirus warned me about very insecure Internet; I had to use VPN! Only able to take a HOT shower but water takes long to heat up at sinks. Host needs to replace items - dented pot, loose knife blade, half of the knives missing from block, loose towel holders, toilet rocks when you sit on it, peeling sofa.
