The place we stayed at was clean and matched the pictures but the building itself smelled of food the smell didn’t travel into the rooms the building itself had a old smell underneath the food and seemed as it has been recently renovated
The overall state of the residence was tolerable. The listing mentioned “luxury” in its description but based on our experience, the “luxury” aspect was not met. It seemed that persons had recently checked out prior to our arrival as well and the cleaning may have been rushed. The bathrooms could have been cleaned more thoroughly. The bathroom in the master bathroom carried cobwebs. The towels provided showed evidence of significant wear and tear; they were thin and worn out. The airbed is not what we were expecting, it was a bit flat. There was only one extra sheet which was not enough for our group. There was ample time to know the size of our group and for preparation to be done more efficiently. While Jean was very responsive no matter the time of day or night, a more proactive approach could have been taken to ensure that all major amenities were supplied. The quickness to provide towels after multiple requests was compromised and in the case of sheets, non existent.
It was great but it should have adequate materials for the guests to stay. For example the dishes, the bedding, and toilet paper for the whole stay!
