the booking was extremely easy clear precise instructions host was very nice space was clean the extra bed to sleep on was kind of dirty that's all but overall great experience will definitely boon again 8.5/10💯👍🏾👍🏾
Overall good stay. The water wasn’t working when we first arrived. When we contacted the host, they responded in under an hour. But i had to reach back out 2 hours later to find out it was an issue throughout the whole building. Once the issue was resolved, we were not notified. Place was pretty clean but there was a lot of gnats in the bathroom and kitchen and we found an empty bag of chips in the corner behind a chair. The water pressure wasn’t good but overall it was a nice and convenient stay.
There is a trash room at the beginning of the corridor and I think the unpleasant smell comes from this room. There wasn’t extra bed sheets and black towels in the room, I asked Jean, the answer comes as soon as possible but the bed sheets come 3 days later. We waited 3 days for a bed sheet. There wasn’t even salt in the kitchen. All pans and pots are teflon and need to be replaced, they are all in very bad condition. There are many mosquitos around and small flies in the unit. We bought a small pan to cook something, salt, and mosquito repellent from the nearby market. By the way, people in the market and around the area speak spanish, not english. The thing we had the most trouble with was that the house was far from the train station. I and my doughter stayed in Evonify for 9 days but we didn’t feel safe walking home in the evenings. If you stay in Elizabeth and go to New York every day please remember you will walk a lot, pay a lot for the train or bus and spend a lot of time.
