This unit was in the perfect location for our needs. It is a quick walk to the T, there are grocery stores and restaurants close by, as well as some good running routes along the river. It is a transitional neighbourhood which also makes it very vibrant. We felt safe walking around and the auto locks for the doors are great. The unit we were in (main floor) is a good sized space and quite comfortable. There is lots of room for 4 people. We found the beds overly soft for our tastes, but the linens are clean and in good shape. The kitchen is generally well stocked and if you need anything the host is quite responsive in providing it. Some of the furniture needs to be repaired or updated and there are some other minor home repairs that should be completed in order to really elevate the quality of this unit. Overall though we had a great stay and would not hesitate to stay there again.
Overall, the apartment met our needs for our stay in Boston. The apartment looked just like the pictures, and check-in and check-out were simple. Our host, Jean, was very responsive when I had a question after booking the Airbnb. The apartment is also very close to a T station, which makes it easy to get around Boston. Unfortunately, the apartment smelled like cigarette smoke, and the shower was either very hot or very cold.
Newly renovated space. Great location. Easy walk to train. Very few restaurants or shops within the area. Very sparsely decorated. Minimal furniture. Walls are thin so you can hear the voices from the adjacent apartment. Streetlights are visible from within the apartment.
