The stay was exactly what we needed for our short weekend trip in Boston. The neighborhood was quiet and the house looks exactly as listed. We ran into a couple problems though; stained towels, no hot water, and no shampoo. Everything was resolved except the shampoo, and the hosts were very responsive. I would recommend bringing your own bathroom toiletries.
As former Boston/Cambridge residents, we really enjoyed our stay in a part of town that was new to us while still having such close access to the red line (2 minute walk!). The apartment itself was spacious and nicely laid out. Some guests might want firmer beds and/or less light coming through the windows at night, but we adapted quickly and soon felt very much at home. The kitchen was functionally if a bit sparsely equipped. There are plenty of shops nearby and a good-sized Star Market a short drive away in Lower Mills, which is also a great place for walking around. Off-street parking a real bonus. All in all, we are glad we spent the better part of a week here.
