Where do I start. And in to what looks like a cheap shady motel for the less unfortunate. Check-in process is through a 3rd party platform and needs verification. Very inconvenient ti say the least. The best part is the actual room. Smelled like a kennel and carpet and floors were very dingy and dirty. You could see footprints which looked like people walked on soiled floors. Found dried animal feces at the foot of the couch. I had settled in at 11:30pm from a 4 hr drive from HTX, so was too exhausted too even move out. Informed host and they offered another room after telling me despite the photos I shared with them, that their cleaning service also provided them with pictures also, confirming that it was cleaned… so basically calling me a liar. Changed to the new room at 8am so I could start work from the new place. I work from home so it’s important I have Wi-Fi. There was none.. I spent about an hr and a hlf going back and fourth because host company didn’t know network and or passwords. Finally had to settle for using network of a room nearby. Complained and offered to pay the two days but wanted to be done with the bad experience and cancel rest of the reservation. Not only did they not honor that, neither did Airbnb… you can’t really send footage of footprints in a dark room with limited bright lights. All in all unless you’re really really pinched for money or oblivious to smells or dirt, don’t bother renting from this company. I will say as a positive note, they were really quick to respond and mouth off to me. Good thing I leave everything to Karma.
Location was safe, check in was easy, communication was fast and clear. Best part was I was able to add my furry companion coco.
The location is stayed at was quiet and fine for what it was and served it’s purpose. However when I asked for early check in they said they couldn’t due to cleaning. When I got there there was dog hair all over the seats, stains on the bed, and human hair on the towels and in the shower. I was very unimpressed by this. I expected much better from an air bnb.
