Place is really central to Hyde park and has a quick access to the highway and a local Heb. For the price and location, well worth it.
This place is the definition of "you get you pay for" phrase. Right off the bat, we found someone's eyelash extension caked into the fury carpet, the adhesive they use for flooring has leaked out from the sides and wasn't cleaned. There was a small hole in the bathroom from people slamming the door open. We didn't have a sponge the clean the dishes with, but had plenty of dish soap/dishwasher pods. The bedsheets, blankets, pillowcases were clean, but the mattress itself had a sinkhole right in the middle of the mattress. Our light fixture in our room did not work with the remote and I reached out to the host and got no response (luckily there's a night lamp). HOWEVER, the location of the Airbnb was it's saving grace! The Airbnb is within arms reach to everything you would do like 6th Street, Zilker Park, the Capital. Overall, if you're willing to deal with some of the unpleasantries and you won't be in the Airbnb most of the day, then this will work great for you!
