Overall, great apartment. Very spacious for two people. The apartment did look slightly different than the pictures (different furniture, but still nice). The pool was an added bonus and it was really quiet! I would definitely recommend to a guest who wants to visit Austin.
I'm never one to complain about anywhere I stay, but my vacation time spent at Evonify was not a pleasant one. The bed was uncomfortable and when I got back from a long day of being out and went to shower the water NEVER got hot nor remotely close too it. I was very disappointed being that I rented for 2 days. Tried contacting customer service but didn't get a reply till the next day and at that no one never came by.
I would not recommend staying here until the host thoroughly cleans this place and checks for bugs. During my stay, the place was dirty and most likely had a bug problem, as I left with 15 bug bites after I was there for a week. We also saw a large bug crawl out from underneath the unsanitary couch in the common area. The couch was not cleaned very well, as we found someone else's used mask and lighter in it. This made for a very unpleasant and uncomfortable experience. Some of the amenities listed were also not present. The bathroom did not provide body soap/wash, conditioner, or hand soap. The water also took extremely long (20+ minutes) to heat up, which seemed wasteful. The kitchen also did not have any paper towels, cooking oil, baking sheets, or a water kettle. We ended up having to go out ourselves and buy a lot of things. The only good thing was the smooth check-in process. This place definitely does not live up to its name as a "luxury" place to stay.
