We had a great stay. This location seems like it’s most well suited for those traveling on business or for professional purposes but we stayed with our family, two adults and three children and it was actually perfect. Beds were super comfy, there was space for all of us, you cannot beat the location, right across the street from a T stop was ideal! Being so close to Boston Common was really nice for something to do in the evenings. We could easily get to wherever we wanted to go from this location. The kitchen is definitely not for cooking, but I knew that from the pictures so it wasn’t an issue. The bathroom is really tiny, but again I knew that from the pictures and there was plenty of counterspace and areas within the unit to put all of our things in for everyone to get ready. Other reviewers had commented on how loud things were, but you are in the middle of the city so you’re going to hear sirens. We just brought a couple of small white noise machines with us and we were fine.
Great location. You can walk to almost every place in downtown Boston.
The stay and host were a severe disappointment! From broken floor lamps, torn upholstery, no promised coffee pot for days, insufficient linen and towels, disconnected stove burner and fridge, broken garbage disposal and toilet with gross leaking on to the floor… NEVER brought extra linen or towels even after my repeat requests and the host being made aware of leaking onto the kitchen and bathroom floors! So many issues requiring too many follow-ups requests. Lots of “we will place a (another) request” , only half were addressed, none of which were timely. This was a big disruption to my entire family visiting and vacationing far from home. We were even willing to find another location to stay, it was that bad! They host many units in the same high rise building complex but could not offer alternate accommodations. When a partial refund of my stay was requested, the host conveniently ignored me and offered NO response to my request. Had to engage with AirbNB to assist. Never again!
