This unit is in a great location near Boston Common and start of Freedom Trail, and 1/2 block from 2 different T stops. Easy 10 minute walk to South Station. There is a CVS on the corner with some basic groceries, and a well-stocked liquor store nearby. The Thinking Cup and Tatte both have great breakfast and lunch options. Evonify was great with providing instructions for checkin and checkout. Checkin was easy - just pick up the key for the outside door at the building a few doors down. Checkout was equally easy, and they stored our luggage for us for a few hours before departure. We paid a little extra for the option of early checkin and late checkout, which was great because most Airbnbs don't even have this option. The unit itself had comfortable beds/pillows. One of the bedrooms had its own A/C, which was great for a couple of us that like it really cold when we sleep. The kitchen was well-stocked with the essentials and there was ice already made, which we appreciated. The unit faces a wall, so there is no view, but it also is very quiet (no street noise), so that's a win. We didn't have need for the laundry, but it's nice to have that available.
There was standing water in the dishwasher that leaked onto the kitchen floor every time we turned on the faucet (constant mopping). The host (a corporation) didn't make an attempt to come fix this. There was also a broken window screen that prevented the window from closing all the way. The first night we heard everything on the street and the room got really cold. Again, the hosts were notified with no attempt to come fix. There was no amenities in the bath, no shampoo or conditioner. I've run an Airbnb and we always went out of our way to provide amenities, even welcoming cookies. No such treatment here. I wouldn't recommend. Go with hosts who are actual people and not an entity. You will probably have a better experience. (I also requested a refund with no response.)
