The apartment:

- This apartment doesn't have any views. The windows overlook other buildings.
- Fully equipped kitchen.
- Self flexible check-in.
- Laundry is available in the building. You will have to pay for it separately.
Parking:
- No Parking on premise. It is your responsibility to find parking.
- We don't advise driving in Boston. Parking can be extremely expensive and a big hassle.
Check-in:
- Please adhere to the check-in time on your reservation.
- Early check-in is available for a small fee. It can be requested on our portal.
- 1pm Late check-out is available for a small fee. It can be requested on our portal.
- Early check-in and late check-out is subject to availability if requested last minute.
Pets:
- Pets are not allowed.
Things to Note:
- This reservation may be subject to a refundable security deposit, not more than $350. This is a requirement from our insurance.
- 28 nights+ reservations are subject to a $2500 refundable security deposit.
- Subject to street noise due to location. You're in downtown Boston and the location is very noisy at all hours.
- You will encounter homeless people. You're in downtown.
- We are required to obtain a copy of your ID until checkout. You can submit it on our portal after making the reservation.
- We have a doorbell camera.
- Any attempt of throwing a party will result in immediate termination.
- Smoking is not allowed inside the apartment or the building.
- This reservation will be canceled if you have a violent criminal history. Our system automatically checks.
- AC is unavailable between October 15th and May 5th.

I booked this property for a party of 6. Upon arrival, we were asked to check in with the concierge at a neighboring building who walked us down the street and unlocked the door of the building we were staying in. We were to do this anytime we returned to the property, aka were not given a key to enter the property ourselves. Inside the apartment (which was advertised for 6 people) we noticed there were only 2 full/double beds and a futon. Upon messaging the host, we were told to look for an air mattress in the closet, which we were unable to find. We also saw hair on the floor/in the shower drains, dirty dishes in the kitchen drawers, one drawer full of damp towels and one with damp underwear in one of the bedroom dressers. The nightstand contained drugs/pills/paraphernalia, condoms and lube, and dirty toilet paper. We ended up immediately checking into a nearby hotel. The host was unwilling to give us a refund so we are working with Airbnb Support to get a full refund now.
Overall a great stay, good location in Downtown Boston walking distance to everything! Apartment was clean, air bed was great too. Only thing was the check in process - the concierge did not have a key to give us for the building so had to come and let us in each time we entered. A little inconvenient. Other than that all good!
Bait & Switch when we arrived. No Key was available to access the building until the second day. The unit we saw in our booking was far more excellent than what we were provided.
