The apartment is in a great location, very close to the start of the Freedom Trail and close to Metro. Hosts were quick to respond, the building is old and the bathroom could use another renovation, however water pressure was good. The front door was a bit tricky, after putting in the code you had to pull, then push hard to get it to open. All in all we had a very fun time in Boston.
Wonderful stay! At the corner of Boston Common right across from a metro entrance so incredibly convenient. We were also walkable to all of our destinations too so definitely recommend. The host was incredible with communication, response was incredibly fast and friendly. The apartment was also incredibly spacious and area and building felt safe. Would stay again!
Good location & spacious;comfy BUT LOTS of street noise; not their fault - there’s St. Francis Center almost across the street that produces noisy clients. The “concierge” is an unpleasant and unaccommodating security guard. Don’t expect concierge- type assistance. Ants in the kitchen. I used Dawn detergent and poured it on the windowsill where they were coming in. That seemed to help. Only 2 bath towels for 2 people for 4 days (but they were nice towels). One very thin dish towel and no dish rag or sponge. No hangers and only 2 small drawers in a nightstand. Used the ironing board as a surface for clothes. No internet for much of our stay. It took several emails, voicemails and text messages to get someone to respond, and they kept saying the problem was fixed, but nope. When I booked I was told the “concierge” could hold our luggage after checkout until we were leaving town. Nope. Had to Pay the UPS Store around the corner to hold our luggage for a few hours.
