Better to start on a good note, the location is excellent! Walking distance to a lot of restaurants, and things to see. There's always a crowd so you feel safe but not so much where it gets noisy. However, once you actually enter the building and the Airbnb unit, maybe not so much. The unit we ended up getting (**which does NOT look like what the pictures suggest**), was right next to the elevator so you constantly hear the loud machines whirring, all day and all night. A more pressing issue was the seemingly uncoordinated timing with the Property Manager and Cleaners. I had another group of friends book the same Airbnb (just a different unit) and we both had to check-in into rooms that were not cleaned yet. But they seem to be fairly responsive when you call, so that's the only plus about management. And after the cleaners left, we checked in, but there was still a piece of noodle stuck on the wall in my unit. Not the best experience, but at least they are pet-friendly.
Great location, convenient if you want to explore Boston !
The best thing about this place is it's location. If you just need a place to bath and sleep this is it, but no, I wouldn't rent this place again. It wasn't clean, there was a dirty towel in the tub. The bathroom exhaust fan didn't work I turned it on the first day when my kid was in the bathroom (the switcher is outside) and after a while it started to smell like electrical fire. There were potato chips scattered in the bedroom floor. My 6 years old kid playing kicked a toy under the bed, when I told him to pick it up he got the toy and a condom wrapper! I tried to open the living room closet and the handle came out completely without opening the door, the interior door knob was missing, I managed to open it and found the knob well placed in the upper shelf. The air conditioner broke one day, I woke up sweating, it was 82 degrees inside the apartment. the co-host Jean was very responsive and fix it that day. Shower was great. The TV had a format problem we couldn't re-set it.
