I was provided with unit 919 that goes around an elevator shaft so every time elevator is in use (which is multiple times a minute) it makes loud louder of cable running up and down and whatnot. It was very loud and unacceptable to live in. Other that than, the apartment was nothing like in pictures… it looked like a pre-war apartment with paint falling of the ceiling (see pics). I am surprised that this unit is even allowed to be listed especially for its price. Very disappointing. Managment helped me to cancel the second night and get a partial refund but oh boy it was terrible!
Having lived in Boston for eight years, the location is great. apartment is very clean and spacious. Building has 24hr security which I really liked.
Disappointed with this stay. I was given check-in info for Unit 614, but when I arrived, the unit had someone else’s belongings inside. Only after checking the app did I see a message about “emergency maintenance” and that I’d been moved — but I never got an updated email. I had to call the host to get the new code and address. The new unit felt less secure (loose doorknob), the blankets were stained (I bought my own), and their Wi-Fi info was wrong. I booked the original unit because it had two beds — I was recovering from surgery and needed space, but that wasn’t accommodated. Poor communication and not worth the stress. I’m also very concerned the passcode to the original one worked while some one was occupying it, I assumed they changed passcodes in between guest. I also messaged them yesterday after I checked out and they read the message but have not reached out so I figured I might as well warn others. The only positive thing is the location was great.
