The apartment:

- Subject to street noise due to location. You're in downtown Boston and the location is very noisy at all hours.
- You will encounter homeless people. You're in downtown.
- We are required to obtain a copy of your ID until checkout. You can submit it on our portal after making the reservation.
- We have a doorbell camera. Any attempt of throwing a party will result in immediate termination and we will press charges.
- Smoking is not allowed inside the apartment or the building.
- This reservation will be canceled if you have a violent criminal history. Our system automatically checks.
- AC is unavailable between October 15th and May 5th.

BEWARE! DO NOT BOOK WITH EVONIFY! This listing is nothing like it is advertised on Airbnb’s website, which we acknowledge is not the fault of Airbnb but the fault of the company/host, Evonify. This listing is described as appropriate for up to four guests— with a listed queen size bed, a pullout couch, and an air mattress. We booked this listing for three guests which we did with ample amount of time before our reservation. When we arrived, we realized that there were only enough amenities for two guests. The queen bed was as listed but the pullout couch was covered in plastic with no sheets or pillows to go with it and the air mattress was no where to be found. We also found that there were only two sets of towels — two body towels and two hand towels. When we initially contacted Evonify to describe our concerns, they were responsive and receptive — saying that they would send someone to bring supplies for our third guest; however, no “agent” ever came to bring us any sheets, pillows, or towels. Our third guest had to adjust to sleeping on the couch with an extra blanket that we thankfully had in our car and had to use hand towels as a body towel to shower. We tried to contact Evonify multiple times after their initial response to receive the sheets, towels and pillows but after their first response, they did not respond at all. We booked this reservation for four nights — Evonify had plenty of time to respond and act upon our wishes. Besides the disappointment with the lack of amenities, the condition of the apartment upon arrival was also disappointing. The apartment could have been cleaner upon arrival and the dishes/silverware were greasy and had dried chunks of food on them that we had to clean off before initial use. If we ever decide to come back to Boston, we will not book this reservation or with Evonify as a company again.
