Love the location - but being where the action is - came w/ some street noise. It was cozy
Great place for the value! Exactly as listing described. Perfect size for one or two people and was exactly what I needed for my week in Boston. The area is perfect, with lots of food, shopping, and the Boston Commons so near. The lobby/building is a little unkept and worn down but not too bad. The building is historic, so the unit was in need of some repairs. City noise is BAD so be prepared. But like I said, exactly what I expected for the price! Overall good experience. Comfy bed, useful kitchen, nice TV/appliances.
A decent basic place to stay, and probably will again. Very friendly "neighbors" in the very secure and safe building. Excellent location: The T couldn't be much closer (right across the street), GREAT proximity to the Boston Common! As others have commented, there is some late night and wee hour noise from revelers around a bar next door, but that's just city life... the window does a reasonable job of mitigating that. Good enough overall.
