This building was built in the 1800s. You will be staying in a piece of time with history! It is a beautiful building but you have to know that it will be as if it was built in the 1800s. The view of the park was beautiful. The rooms were spacious for our 4 person family. The kitchen is small (as expected). The bathroom pictures show white tile, the tiles were not white and it is a smaller bathroom. Again, as I mentioned before it is an older building with so much character! Perfect walking location to anywhere. Chinatown is a 7 minute walk. The North End is a 20ish minute walk. The harbor is a 15 minute walk. The train station is visible from there so it is SUPER close. We visited Northeastern University and got there quick by train! The airport is a 15 minute uber ride. There is city noise so you will hear sirens and honking. If you're a light sleeper then you may not get a good nights rest, otherwise it was a perfect place for us!
Great location, cozy and rooms vey comfortable!
We had a really nice stay overall! The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly as shown in the photos. The host was friendly and responsive, and the check-in process was super smooth. The only reason I’m giving 4 instead of 5 stars is that we didn’t realize the windows had been left slightly open until the night before our checkout. Once we closed and latched them, it was much quieter — but before that, the street noise was a bit loud. Other than that, everything was great, and we’d definitely stay here again!
