My friend and I had a very pleasant stay. Great location! Walking distance to most of Boston’s attractions. The apartment itself had a comfortable and cosy bed and couch and a great shower. However it was a little more rundown then what the photos reflected, a number of the Ceiling panels had big gaps between them opening up into a creepy looking ceiling cavity (I was able to move back into place), the blind/curtain was also broken in the bathroom allowing neighbouring apartments a direct view in, I was told by both the maintenance guy and the evonify contact that it would be repaired but it never was. Besides these two issues, my stay was enjoyable and would stay again.
This place is perfect for a couple or single person as it’s in the heart of everything in Boston. We walked to almost every historical site and it’s within a 2 mile radius plus great restaurants, beautiful parks with lovely nature scenes. I highly recommend staying here. The host was fantastic and communicative. It was very easy to get it out.
Location is superb, most attractions are walkable. There is a T station at the corner for easy access to other areas and Uber was always quick and reasonable. Restaurants, shopping, theaters, ballet, tours are all available in immediate area. It is right on the Common for morning walks, UPS 30 feet around corner to ship if you over shop or need to drop luggage for time discrepancies between flights and check-in or out. If you expect luxury, this is not it but very comfortable and did I mention location!! Rooms need a good maintenance man for a few minor repairs but updates are good in this old iconic building and the shower head is superb…quite invigorating after a long day of walking. Noise level is high as it is a busy area but dies down rapidly after 10:00, it’s not a problem unless you’re an early to bed person. Again, location compensates for any shortcomings. Highly recommend and would absolutely stay here again.
