Very clean and a great area !
Tl; dr: the location is worth it. Even in COVID times where we weren't comfortable taking public transportation (literally across the street from the T stop), it was such an easy walk to the common, downtown, Chinatown, and more. There's a Starbucks right underneath, Tatte across the street, and a Dunkin' a block away. The place itself... Fine. The night shift "concierge" who looks to be just contracted security wasn't very helpful but the regular daytime hours one was great. There's an elevator, paid laundry, trash on the same floor, etc. It would've been nice to have more towels and some dish towels (we used one of the hand towels to dry dishes) but it was reasonable. We did a lot of cooking and ended up having to buy some basic amenities: Ziploc bags, olive oil, baking sheets, spices... and there were no scissors so we had to make do with knives for when they were needed. The only concerning things were a) the bed just had flat sheets and the mattress underneath, while very soft and comfy, was kinda gross, and b) the heat didn't work for a few days. That was pretty concerning, because we were in the middle of a snowstorm and even with the thermostat turned up to 85 it didn't get above 55 for a day or two. We found a space heater in the closet and contacted the host, and they said they'd send someone to fix it. Never got confirmation on whether that happened, but a day later (and after the space heater had been on and we stuffed the window cracks with sweatshirts) it was warm and toasty in there again. Would definitely be back <3
Great Location. Very clean. They allowed my dog. Nice amenities. They thought of everything. Will definitely stay again.
