Location at this place can't be beat! Close to the subway, but also centrally located, so easily walkable to most of the city. A variety of restaurants & coffee shops nearby. Close to the start of the freedom trail & one of the hop-on hop-off bus stops. The road outside was noisy, but that was part of the city experience & we did bring ear plugs. We needed more bedding, and after a text, it arrived very promptly. The building itself is older. We saw an occasional student come & go. The apartment was small for four people, but had everything we needed after long days of exploring. We spent most of our evenings over at the park watching people & softball games. Great city! We hope to come back for a Red Sox game!
I have mixed feelings about this apartment. It is in a fantastic location, across the street from Boston Common, T stop, restaurants and coffee shops. On the downside it is a very noisy neighborhood. You can hear the subway brakes every time it stops. Being in a great location does mean lots of foot traffic. So be prepared. Luckily we had ear plugs to use at night. Unfortunately, the apartment wasn’t equipped as per the description. It was described to accommodate up to 4 people but was only equipped for 2 people max. Only 2 bath towels, and only the bed had linens. There was a blow up mattress and a couch, but no linens for either of those. I did call the number provided. They did get back to me, but were not apologetic even though I had to go into another one of their apartments and take linens from that one and trek them back to mine. I just thought it was unprofessional. The studio is perfect for 1 or 2 people if you share the bed and you don’t mind street noise.
Great location by several T stops, Chinatown, Theater District and great food. Nice place. Very few outlets. Easy getting in and out of building and apartment. Goo spot overall.
